May 31 ~ she was dubbed Natasha
Two days in a row, this little spider appeared in the same vicinity.
Our sense of scale and space is curiously linked to many cues. An acquaintance observed that this scene appears almost desert-like, with the spider perched on a sand dune or rock, but she's actually poised on a computer monitor.
Incidentally, usually I find macro work easier with manual focus but her quick movements led me to try auto focus; this lens responded nicely.
